Volunteer Medical Mission in Nicaragua
My family recently spent 10 days in Nicaragua as volunteers for the NPO Corner of Love. We worked with medical doctors and dentists to bring health care to 3,000 Nicaraguans in remote areas of San Ramon. Not only the 3,000 who came to our clinics, but also their family members received treatments. A total of 10,000 Mebendazole treatments for parasites were distributed during our short stay, so we reached even more than the estimated 6,000!
