KGK (キリスト者学生会)

Hi Everyone,

Anyone who is interested in learning something about Christianity is cordially welcomed to come to my office each Wednesday evening at 5pm for a KGK meeting. We will be reading Bible passages in English (a great way to learn more English!!) and discussing them. You can learn more about KGK at http://www.kgkjapan.net/

Wow! Half my life in Japan.

I just realized as I was ruminating on the new year, that 2009 marks my 22nd year in Japan. I will also turn 44 years old in 2009.

You do the math.

Wow.

I never thought I would be here so long.

It's a funny feeling.

In 2010, I will have lived longer in Japan than in my home country.

Wow.

Even crazier is the fact that my entire adult life (or life as an independent, wage earning, tax-paying individual) has been in Japan.

Why do I still feel so non-Japanese?

But actually, I don't feel American either. I guess I'm just me.

Yep. Just me. I guess that's OK.
